Honey Wheat Bread

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in large mixing bowl. Let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in egg and next 5 ingredients.
  3. Add whole wheat flour.
  4. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
  5. Stir in enough all-purpose flour to make stiff dough.
  6. Turn onto floured board.
  7. Knead 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  8. Cover.
  9. Let rise in warm place until doubled.
  10. Punch down.
  11. Divide in half. Shape into 2 loaves.
  12. Place into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
  13. Cover and let rise until doubled.
  14. Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
