Lasagne
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with cheese
- 1(8 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (5 3/4 oz.) can mushroom steak sauce
- 12 oz. small curd cottage cheese
- 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella or Jack cheese
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- pepper
- 1 tsp. milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 4 oz. lasagne noodles
- Brown meats, onion and garlic in large skillet.
- Stir in salt, pepper, oregano and parsley.
- Add tomato sauce, paste, steak sauce and mushrooms.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Mix cottage cheese, egg and milk together.
- Alternate layers of noodles (2 layers), cottage cheese mixture, sauce mix and shredded cheese in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 45 minutes.
