Blend Of The Bayou Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 lb. peeled shrimp
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can mushrooms, drained
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 pt. crabmeat
- 1 tsp. hot sauce
- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In nonstick skillet, melt butter and saute onion, bell pepper and celery.
- Add cream cheese and melt. Stir in soup, mushrooms and seasonings.
- Take off fire and add crabmeat and cooked shrimp.
- Fold in cooked rice.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 dish which has been sprayed with Pam.
- Top with grated cheese and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
