Better Than Guess What(Large Party Cake; Serves 20)

• 2 boxes yellow cake mix
• 2 (8 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 1 stick butter
• 3 large bananas
• 1 large carton Cool Whip
• 1 (16 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
• 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding (mixed according to directions on box)
• walnuts
• maraschino cherries

1. Mix cake according to directions on package.
2. Bake in large pan (13 x 9-inches).
3. While cake is baking, mix in saucepan: pineapple, sugar, cornstarch and butter.
4. Bring all to boiling. When cake is done, remove from pan to platter.
5. Spread pineapple mixture over cake while cake is hot.
6. Let cake cool.
7. Slice bananas lengthwise.
8. Spread over cake.
9. Spread Cool Whip over bananas.
10. Next, spread coconut evenly.
11. Last, spread or spoon pudding.
12. Decorate with walnuts and maraschino cherries.
