Stuffed Pizza
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 1/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 3/4 c. cold water
- 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (12 oz.)
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar pizza sauce
- favorite pizza toppings
- Heat oven to 450u0b0.
- Grease rectangular baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
- Cook and stir sausage and ground beef until brown; drain and set aside.
- Mix baking mix and water until dough forms.
- Divide in two parts, one part slightly larger.
- Roll larger portion of dough into rectangle, 16 x 14-inches.
- Place in dish; press on bottom and up sides.
- Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese; cover with 3/4 cup pizza sauce and meat mixture and other toppings.
- Cover with 1 1/2 cups of the cheese.
- Roll remaining dough into rectangle, 13 x 9-inches.
- Place over cheese in dish.
- Press bottom and top crust edges together to seal.
- Make small slits in top crust.
- Spread crust with remaining pizza sauce and cheese.
- Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
