Cheesy Baked Mac N Cheese

  1. In a big pot, melt the butter.
  2. Slowly whisk in the flour until the mixture is combined and smooth.
  3. Add in salt, pepper, minced garlic, and worcestershire sauce - whisk until incorporated.
  4. Gradually whisk in half & half and milk.
  5. Continue to whisk and cook for another 5 minutes until mixture thickens.
  6. Gradually add in the sharp cheddar cheese, stir until combined.
  7. Gradually add in extra sharp cheddar cheese, stir until combined.
  8. Continue to stir and cook for an additional 5 minutes until mixture thickens.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Mix together the cheese sauce with the already cooked pasta in a 13x9 casserole dish.
  11. Sprinkle with more grated cheese.
  12. Bake in the oven at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes.
