Cream Cheese Brownies
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Cream together the 1/3 cup sugar and cream cheese.
- Add the 1 egg and mix.
- Set aside.
- Heat together the baking chocolate, butter and water until boiling.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine the 2 cups sugar and flour.
- Stir into chocolate mixture.
- Mix the 2 eggs, sour cream, salt and baking soda.
- Add to chocolate mixture. Pour chocolate batter into a greased and floured oblong cake pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture across top and cut in with a knife to create a marbling effect.
- Sprinkle top with the chocolate chips. Bake at 355u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
