Yellow Squash Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
  2. Melt 3 tablespoons of the butter in a 12-inch skillet over moderate heat.
  3. Add the onion and cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until soft.
  4. Meanwhile, cut the squash into 1/4-inch slices.
  5. If they are large, quarter them.
  6. Add the squash to the onion.
  7. Cover and cook for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
