Strawberries And Cream Dessert
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
- 2 c. whipping cream, whipped (1 pt.)
- 1 (12 oz.) prepared loaf pound cake, cut into cubes
- 4 c. sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 c. strawberry preserves
- additional fresh strawberries
- slivered almonds
- In large mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water; mix well.
- Add pudding mix; beat until well blended.
- Chill 5 minutes.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Spoon 2 cups pudding mixture into 4-quart round serving bowl; top with half the cake cubes, half the strawberries, half the preserves and half the remaining pudding mixture.
- Repeat layering, ending with pudding mixture.
- Garnish with additional strawberries and almonds.
- Chill for 4 hours.
