Cindy'S Sweet-N-Sour Steak

  1. Heat oil in medium to hot skillet; add steak, cut into thin strips, and brown on all sides, stirring frequently.
  2. Lower heat; add celery and green peppers, cut into thin strips, and onion. Cook until celery is tender, but crunchy.
  3. Add pineapple, syrup, vinegar and 8 ounces water.
  4. Heat until bubbling.
  5. Mix cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water; pour into bubbling mix and stir until desired thickness.
  6. Pour over rice or noodles.
