No Trot Chili Company Blue Ribbon Recipe

  1. Cut beef into 1 cubes and mix with pork, onion and garlic and cook in 1 Tbsp. oil until brown and tender.
  2. Add tomatoes; continue to cook on low heat.
  3. Dissolve bouillon and brown sugar in two cups hot water and set aside.
  4. Heat remainder of oil in a pan; add chili powder, flour and pepper.
  5. Cook until flour is brown, then add bouillon mix, stirring constantly until blended. Add the Roux to the meat; blend and cook on low heat for one hour.
