Meat Loaf
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 lb. country sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 sprigs parsley, sage, basil, oregano, garlic and chives, chopped
- 6 slices soft bread, cubed
- 1 1/4 c. warm milk
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 c. dried bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- Thoroughly mix meats, seasonings, onions and celery.
- Soak bread in milk; add eggs and Worcestershire sauce.
- Beat with rotary beater.
- Combine meat, egg mixture, bread crumbs and catsup.
- Place in shallow pan.
- Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
- Baste with liquid in pan at 15 minute intervals.
