Layered Pistachio Dessert
- 1 1/4 c. Bisquick
- 1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. firm margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. chilled whipping cream
- 2 to 3 3/4 pkg. pistachio instant pudding
- 2 1/2 c. cold milk
- 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Mix baking mix, brown sugar and margarine; stir in nuts.
- Press in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes; cool.
- Beat 1 cup powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
- Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff.
- Fold 1 cup of whipping cream into cheese mixture, spread over baked layer.
- Mix pudding and milk with hand beater until thick.
- Pour over cheese mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate until firm.
- Fold 1 tablespoon powdered sugar into remaining whipping cream.
- Garnish each serving with sweetened whipping cream.
- Serves 12.
