Red Mountain Barbecued Bear

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients except ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Simmer 20 minutes, uncovered.
  3. Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Place bear roast in oven at 325 degrees.
  6. Roast 3-4 hours or until tender.
  7. Baste frequently with sauce.
