Snow Peas Oriental(Low Calorie)

  1. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  2. Add oil and place over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add snow peas and carrots.
  4. Saute 2 minutes.
  5. Add water chestnuts and broth.
  6. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  7. Combine soy sauce and cornstarch, stirring until cornstarch dissolves.
  8. Add to vegetable mixture.
  9. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
  10. Serve immediately.
  11. Yield:
  12. 4 servings (about 51 calories per 1/2 cup serving).
