Chicken Spaghetti
- 1 large hen, cooked, skinned, deboned and cut into small pieces (6 chicken breasts)
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. spaghetti noodles, cooked in chicken broth
- 1 lb. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped fine or garlic powder
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (2 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
- salt and pepper
- Saute onion, garlic, celery and green pepper in margarine until tender. Remove from heat and add soups and pimento.
- Combine soup mixture, spaghetti and chicken.
- Mix well.
- Place 1/2 in a lightly greased 4-quart baking dish and top with 1/2 of the grated cheese.
- Put another layer of spaghetti mixture and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 325u0b0 until cheese melts and all is bubbling hot (about 30 minutes).
