Beef With Sour Cream

  1. Remove bone and fat from steak; cut into thin, narrow strips. Dredge in flour.
  2. Brown meat quickly in hot skillet on all sides. Add onions, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms.
  3. Cover; simmer for about 45 minutes, or until meat is tender.
  4. Add mushrooms and peas.
  5. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream; heat but do not boil.
  7. Serve over rice.
  8. Garnish with pimiento, if desired.
  9. Serves 6.
