Microwave Asparagus-Ham Casserole
- 5 lasagna noodles
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. chopped ham
- 1 (15 oz.) can asparagus strips, drained
- Cook noodles.
- Drain.
- Cut in half crosswise.
- Melt butter in pan.
- Stir in flour and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
- Stir in milk and cook.
- Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened. Add garlic, thyme and pepper.
- Place 2 to 3 tablespoons sauce in bottom of square 2-quart casserole dish.
- Place layer of noodles over sauce, then layer 1/2 of the ham, 1/2 can asparagus, 1/2 cup of the sauce and 1/3 cup of mixed cheeses.
- Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining noodles and last of sauce and cheese.
- Cook on High power for 9 to 10 minutes, turning it twice.
