Stir-Fry Pork, Onions And Apples
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chili sauce or catsup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 lb. boneless pork, cut into strips about 2 x 1/4 x 1/4-inch
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 medium or 1 big onion, cut in wedges
- 2 medium apples, cut in slices
- Combine soy, catsup, vinegar and cornstarch in small bowl. Stir in brown sugar, salt and pepper.
- Set aside.
- Stir-fry pork in 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet until browned on all sides. Remove with slotted spoon.
- Reserve.
- Add oil to skillet.
- Add onions and apples; stir-fry 2 minutes.
- Add pork.
- Stir soy mixture and add to skillet.
- Stir-fry until mixture thickens and boils. Serve with hot rice.
