Pork Pizza Loaf
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 can mushroom pieces
- 1 medium ground pepper
- Brown ground pork.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, seasoning, garlic salt and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese.
- Remove bread from inside of halved loaves.
- Leave 1/2-inch shell.
- Spread bread halves with pizza sauce, reserving 1/4 to 1/2 cup.
- Place meat on bread and sauce; spread with reserved sauce.
- Place onion, mushrooms and ground pepper in layers on top of meat.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheese.
- Place on cookie sheet in oven; bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
