Country Style Ribs
- 3-4 lbs. country style
- 1/3 C. chopped onion
- 1/2 C. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 C. chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 C. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Place spare ribs in dutch oven.
- Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer covered for one hour or until ribs are tender.
- Drain; place in 9x13 baking dish.
- Heat oven to 300 degrees.
- In medium skillet, saute onion in margarine. Stir in remaining ingredients, and cook until heated through. pour sauce over ribs.
- Bake 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Serves 5-6.
