Easy Sausage Pizza Bake
- 1 lb. bulk pork sausage (breakfast)
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar thick spaghetti sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained (1/2 c.)
- 1 green pepper, cut into thin rings
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (about 8 oz.)
- Heat oven to 425u0b0.
- Grease a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
- Cook and stir sausage and onion in skillet until sausage is brown; drain.
- Mix Bisquick mix and water until thoroughly moistened.
- Spread batter in pan.
- Spread spaghetti sauce carefully over batter.
- Top with sausage mixture and remaining ingredients. Bake until crust is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
- Yield:
- 12 servings.
