Colonel Sanders' Barbecue Sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons catsup
- 4 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 3/4 teaspoons bead molasses
- 2 1/4 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground sage
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked salt
- 1 1/8 teaspoons allspice
- 3/4 teaspoon new mexico chile powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin powder
- 3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon paprika
- 3/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 3/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/8 teaspoon ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Combine all ingredients well and simmer until desired consistency and flavor is reached, stirring often with wooden spoon.
- Cool and serve.
- Store refrigerated in sealed container.
