Pork Chops In Sour Cream Gravy

  1. Brown mushrooms in butter in a heavy skillet.
  2. Remove mushrooms and brown pork chops on both sides.
  3. Season with salt and pepper; add 1/2 cup water, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove chops and keep warm. Prepare gravy in juice with mushrooms in skillet.
  5. Mix flour and remaining 1/2 cup water.
  6. Add to the juices.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickens.
  8. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream.
  9. Serve at once over pork chops.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
