Fudge Brownies
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. almonds or nuts (ground)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, cut up
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 slightly beaten egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. candy-coated semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- Use nonstick spray coating.
- Spray only the bottom of a 2-quart square baking dish with nonstick coating.
- Combine flour, almonds and baking powder.
- Heat and stir butter and unsweetened chocolate over medium heat until melted.
- Stir into sugar, eggs, egg yolk and vanilla.
- Beat by hand until just combined.
- Stir into flour mixture.
- Spread mixture into prepared baking dish sprinkled with candy-coated pieces.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
- Cook in pair on rack.
- Cut into squares.
- Makes 16.
