Our Family'S Favorite Chicken Casserole
- 2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
- 10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
- 8 1/2 oz. can green beans, drained
- 3 oz. can mushrooms, undrained
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 10 oz. can Hungry Jack refrigerator big flaky biscuits
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. seasoned croutons, crushed
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the first seven ingredients.
- Heat until hot and bubbly.
- Pour mixture into an ungreased 2-quart casserole or 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits and arrange over the hot chicken mixture.
- Brush each biscuit with margarine and sprinkle crushed croutons over the biscuits.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until deep golden brown on top.
