Spaghetti Pie
- 6 oz. vermicelli
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, not drained
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Cook the spaghetti; drain.
- Stir in butter, eggs and Parmesan cheese.
- Form spaghetti mixture into "crust" in buttered 10-inch pie pan. Cook ground beef and onion; drain.
- Stir in tomatoes, paste and spices.
- Heat.
- Fill "crust."
- Bake, uncovered, in a 350u0b0 oven for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and bake for 10 more minutes. Even better the next day.
