Quiche Lorraine(Microwave)
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, prebaked
- 6 slices bacon, cooked
- 3 green onions, thin sliced
- 2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 4 eggs, beaten
- Crumble bacon into small pieces.
- Reserve 1 teaspoon of bacon and
- 1
- teaspoon
- of
- onion slices for topping.
- Spread bacon
- and onions
- evenly
- in
- bottom of pie shell.
- Sprinkle gratedtheese over bacon and onions.
- In a 2-cup micro-proof measure, heat milk on High setting for 3 minutes.
- Mix mustard in
- beaten
- eggs. Gradually
- add
- hot milk as you stir.
- Pour carefully
- into pie shell.
- Sprinkle reserved bacon and onions on
- top.
- Cook
- on
- 70 (Roast)
- for 12 to 14 minutes or until center
- is
- barely set. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving.
