Greek Turkey Burgers With Yogurt Sauce
- Yogurt Sauce
- 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup cucumber, chopped
- Burgers
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
- Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix sauce ingredients; refrigerate until serving time.
- In medium bowl, mix all burger ingredients except buns. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Place patties on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165u0b0F Serve burgers on buns with yogurt sauce.
