Choco-Chip Meringue Bars
- 1 box Pillsbury fudge cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 box Pillsbury fluffy white frosting mix
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix by hand until well combined.
- Press into a 13 x 9-inch ort

- Prepare frosting mix as directed
- on package;
- spread frosting on unbaked fudge base. Keep
- frosting about
- 2-inches from pan edge.
- (Frosting will spread
- while baking.)
- Sprinkletecanstnd chocolate chips over frosting. Bake

- for
- 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick
- inserted near
- edge
- comes out clean. (Choco-chips will not melt.) Yield: 3 dozen bars.
