Quick Hamburger Supper

  1. Combine beef, onion, bread, 1/2 cup of the water, 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, pepper and nutmeg in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Shape into 4 loaves.
  3. Cook loaves in hot oil in a large skillet until browned.
  4. Stir in gravy and wine.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Meanwhile, bring remaining water and salt to a boil.
  7. Stir in rice and parsley; cover. Remove from heat.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. Fluff with a fork.
  10. Serve rice with loaves.
