Miss Maggie'S Fruiti Fruiti Sherbet

• 1 Tbsp. gelatin
• 2 Tbsp. cold water
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 c. water
• 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
• juice of 1 orange
• 2 c. crushed pineapple
• 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, sliced
• 2 mashed bananas
• 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
• 1/2 c. white corn syrup

1. Mix gelatin with cold water
2. to soften.
3. Add sugar to 1 cup boiling water, boil 5
4. minutes.
5. Add gelatin to hot syrup. Cool. Add salt, lemon juice and orange juice to syrup.
6. Cool. Add pineapple,therries
7. and
8. mashed
9. bananas.
10. Prepare
11. egg whites and white corn syrup.
12. Fold
13. in fruit mixture.
14. Pour in ice cream freezer.
15. Freeze as you would any ice cream.
