Pasta Salad
- 8 oz. spaghetti (twists)
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chickpeas
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped olives
- 2 Tbsp. dried chopped parsley
- 1/4 lb. sliced boiled ham*
- 1/4 lb. Provolone cheese
- 1/4 lb. sliced salami*
- 1/2 jar sliced pimientos
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. chopped capers
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Cook spaghetti until just done; drain and cool.
- Julienne ham, cheese and salami.
- In large bowl, combine first 9 items.
- Combine next 7 items and mix thoroughly.
- Pour over spaghetti mixture. Toss and chill 2 hours.
- Serves 6 to 8.
