Chicken Crescents
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper, sauteed
- 2 Tbsp. chopped mushrooms, sauteed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1/2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives
- seasoned croutons, crushed
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- Separate rolls into 4 rectangles.
- Seal perforations by pressing together.
- Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of margarine.
- Add chicken.
- Mix, then add green peppers, mushrooms, salt, pepper, milk, parsley and chives.
- Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto each crescent roll rectangle.
- Pull up corners and twist top.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of margarine; dip crescents into it and into crushed croutons.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 4.
