Granola(Low-Cal)
- 3 c. raw oatmeal
- 3/4 c. sliced almonds
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1 c. wheat germ
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 tsp. honey
- 6 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 3 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. golden raisins or mixed dried fruit
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a medium bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.
- In a small bowl, combine oil, syrup, honey and vanilla. Add to oat mixture and toss to combine.
- Spray cookie sheet with nonstick coating and spread oat mixture.
- Bake, stirring frequently, until lightly browned for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch carefully. Transfer cookie sheet to wire rack and let cool. Transfer oat mixture to a medium mixing bowl.
- Add dried fruit and toss to combine.
- Store in airtight container for up to one week.
