Scandinavian Meatballs
- 1/2 lb. ground turkey mix
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill or 1 tsp. dry dill weed
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine (1/2 stick)
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 envelope or tsp. instant chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. fresh dill or 2 tsp. dry dill weed
- Combine ground turkey mix and dill weed in large bowl until blended.
- Shape into meatballs.
- Brown meatballs in the butter or margarine, part at a time.
- Transfer meatballs into casserole dish.
- Sprinkle flour over the pan drippings and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles.
- Stir in milk, water and instant chicken broth.
- Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons dill weed.
- Pour sauce over meatballs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
