Special Ground Beef Casserole
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. diced green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. catsup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
- 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- Cook onions and green pepper in butter in large frypan until onions are transparent.
- Add beef; stir until browned.
- Add soup, catsup, salt and pepper; simmer for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Blend milk, cream cheese and lemon juice; add garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Add cream cheese mixture to noodles. Spread noodle mixture in 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
- Pour beef sauce on top; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
