Fudgy Brownies
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. frozen egg substitute, thawed
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- vegetable cooking spray
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; add to the sugar mixture, stirring well.
- Stir in chocolate morsels.
- Spoon batter into a 9-inch square pan coated with cooking spray.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- Cut into squares.
- Yield:
- 16 brownies; per brownie 177 calories and fat 5.8 g.
