Lasagna
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. whole basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 3 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan and Romano cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- Brown beef; spoon off fat.
- Add next 7 ingredients.
- Simmer approximately 30 minutes.
- Cook noodles; rinse and combine remaining ingredients in bowl except Mozzarella cheese.
- Layer noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella, then meat sauce.
- Repeat. Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
