Salsa Cheese Bake

• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 tbsp. oil
• 12 oz. jar salsa
• 4 oz. chopped green chilies (drained)
• 2 tbsp. raisins
• 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
• dash ground cumin
• 1/2 lb. sausage
• 16 oz. monterey jack cheese
• 1/4 c. sliced olives
• tortilla chips

1. Cook garlic in oil 1 minute.
2. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Heat to boiling constantly stirring.
3. Reduce heat & simmer until thickened about 3 minutes.
4. Cook & drain sausage, stir in 1 c. salsa mixture.
5. In ungreased casserole dish layer 1/2 of cheese (sliced 1/4 inches) then sausage mixture.
6. Top with 1/2 cheese. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees 8-10 minutes.
7. Heat remaining salsa mixture & pour over cheese.
8. Serve with chips.
