Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla flavor instant pudding
- 2 eggs
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
- Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
- Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in a large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.
- Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop by heaping teaspoonful about 2-inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 9 to 9 1/2 minutes or until browned. Yields 4 1/2 dozen cookies, 2 1/2-inches in diameter.
