Turkey And Dressing
- 1 turkey, seasoned and baked as directed
- turkey stock (broth)
- 1 full recipe cornbread, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 loaf bread or 1 can biscuits, crumbled
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small bunch green onions, chopped
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- sage to taste
- In saucepan, combine celery, bell pepper and onions.
- Cook until tender and season lightly, if desired.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine crumbled cornbread and crumbled loaf bread.
- Add sauteed vegetables, boiled eggs and seasonings; toss well.
- You may also add Pepperidge herb dressing for taste.
- Now, add turkey broth and mix until desired consistency is reached.
- You may stuff turkey and arrange turkey around or just bake in pan until done. Use a 350u0b0 oven.
