W W Breakfast Pie
- 1 refrigerated 9-inch pie crust
- 6 oz. shredded part skim Mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz. crumbled turkey sausage, cooked
- 1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 c. low-fat milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- Bake crust according to package directions for prebaked shell.
- Cool completely.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375u0b0.
- Place half the cheese in baked shell.
- Top with sausage, onion and green pepper.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- In medium bowl whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
- Pour over filled pie shell.
- Bake at 450u0b0 until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Each serving provides 2 protein, 1 bread and 125 optional calories; 213 calories and 9 grams fat per serving.
