Cuban Chickpeas And Chorizo (Portuguese Sausage)

  1. In large skillet, over low heat, heat the oil.
  2. Then add the onion, pepper and garlic, stirring until tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Add the tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, basil, cumin and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook until heated through.
  4. Add the chickpeas, chorizo and ham.
  5. Reduce heat to low and cook 1 hour.
