Green Pea Casserole
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 celery ribs
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 pkg. herb dressing
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat
- oven
- to
- 350u0b0.
- Cookteas per package directions, unseasonedtnd
- drained.
- Set aside.
- Saute onion and celery in the 1/2 cup margarine.
- Add drained chestnuts, soup, flourtnd peas.
- Mixtogether
- well and cook slightly.
- Add salt
- and pepper
- totaste.telt
- the
- 1/4 cup margarine in skillet
- and add
- the
- herb
- dressing.
- Set
- aside.
- Pour all (except the dressing) into a medium casserole dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes or until bubbly and hot.
- Add dressing and brown slightly.
