Hershey'S Sour Cream Chocolate Cake
- 3 blocks (3 oz.) Hershey's baking chocolate
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. (6 oz.) dairy sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Combine chocolate, butter and boiling water in small bowl; stir until melted.
- Thoroughly combine sugar, flour, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add chocolate mixture, beating until thoroughly combined.
- Blend eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
- Beat for 1 minute at medium speed after adding egg mixture to rest of ingredients.
- Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool and frost.
