Hearty Winter Stew

  1. Cut beef cubes into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel potatoes and dice. Cut up onions.
  3. Cut up whole tomatoes (save juice).
  4. Coat bottom of soup pot with oil.
  5. Place beef cubes and onions into pot.
  6. Brown, drain off excess fat.
  7. Add saved juice, tomato sauce, potatoes, tomatoes and all frozen vegetables to pot.
  8. Fill pot to top with water.
  9. Simmer for 3 to 4 hours on top of stove.
  10. Serve with rolls and butter.
