Fabulous Chocolate Chip Cookies

• 2 1/2 c. oatmeal, blended
• 9 oz. Hershey Symphony creamy milk chocolate bar, grated
• 1 c. butter (2 sticks; use only butter)
• 1 c. granulated sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

1. Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder and set aside.tlace chocolate bar in blender and chop into very small pieces and set aside.
2. Cream the butter and the two sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda.
3. Add chocolate chips, chopped chocolate bar and nuts; mix well.
4. This is a stiff cookie dough. Roll into balls and place two-inches apart on a cookie sheet.
5. Bake for 10 minutes at 375u0b0.
6. Cookies will be soft to the touch, but they will become more firm when cool.
7. Store in tight container.
