Wellesly Coffee Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating with each addition.
  3. Add sour cream, vanilla and almonds; beat well.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to mixture and beat.
  5. In separate bowl, combine sugar, pecans and cinnamon for filling.
  6. Place 1/3 batter in well-greased and floured tube pan.
  7. Sprinkle with 3/4 filling mixture.
  8. Spoon in rest of batter and sprinkle with remaining filling.
  9. Bake 1 hour.
