Spicy Ginger Asian Wings
- 16 chicken wings (drumsticks)
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces sweet chili sauce (Mae Ploy, etc)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh ground ginger (skin then use a microplaner)
- 1/2 tablespoon sambal chili paste
- 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, stems removed and minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon green onion, finely chopped
- In small saucepan or pot, add Mae Ploy, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, Sambal, and lime juice. Stir occasionally, on low heat, to thicken.
- Coat chicken wings in olive oil, then corn starch. Cook in air fryer for 10 minutes @ 350u0b0, then remove and coat in chili sauce. Put back into air fryer for another 10 minutes @ 350u0b0.
- Remove wings from fryer into a large bowl. Cover with reserved sauce, then add cilantro, sesame seeds, and green onion. Toss to coat. Enjoy!
